About Aagaah
Most of what passes for public life today is performance.
Leaders perform competence.
Institutions perform virtue.
Media performs memory.
Citizens perform identity.
And beneath it all, reality drifts — unnoticed, unresolved, unremembered.
aagaah is a platform against that drift.
The word itself means aware, aware, or awakened in Urdu.
It is a small invocation to stay aware of what is real when so much conspires to make us forget.
I write and talk about the widening gap between performance and reality.
I write and talk about power, culture, institutional decay, and the small ways that memory and meaning still matter.
I write and talk as someone who believes that moral realism is worth defending, even when inconvenient.
I write here and talk there.
