About Aagaah

Most of what passes for public life today is performance.

Leaders perform competence.

Institutions perform virtue.

Media performs memory.

Citizens perform identity.

And beneath it all, reality drifts — unnoticed, unresolved, unremembered.

Aagaah is a project against that drift.

The word itself means aware, informed, conscious in Urdu.

It is a small invocation: to stay awake to what is real, when so much conspires to make us forget.

I write about the widening gap between performance and reality.

I write about power, culture, institutional decay, and the small ways that memory and meaning still matter.

I write as someone who believes that moral realism is worth defending — even when it is inconvenient.

Aagaah is not a hot take machine.

It is not content marketing.

It is not an attempt to brand a “perspective.”

It is simply an attempt to face what is real — and to speak about it, plainly.

Less theater. More truth.

I’m Zahead. Welcome.
